Recycled Plastic Lantern
This is a cool and relatively easy rectangular lantern to make. The transparency of the printed plastic bag gives a glow. Found this tutorial at http://www.urbanthreads.com/pages?id=344

However, do not use clear plastic and a put in a candle (for a Chinese family). Why? It is common nowadays to put 'street lamps' (simple makeshift rectagular lanterns) by the road side to show the way to a Chinese-style funeral.
